I didn't like how my clapotis was turning out but it wasn't too bad to start over so I opted to sew it together at the ends and make it into a cowl. I'm glad I did, I'm very pleased with it.
I took photos with my real camera so you can actually see how nice the colors are in this yarn.
I only did 2 repeats of the increase and worked it to be 24 inches long bound off and sewed it together at the ends. I would reccomend stopping short of your desired length and doing the decreases. Mine has a weird angle where I sewed it together.

I love how you did that! Could you share details so I can make one for my mom for Christmas? Like how many increases, length, etc...thanks!

I only did 2 repeats of the increase, worked it long enough to fit around my head (24 inches), bound off and sewed it together at the ends. I would recommend stopping short of your desired length and doing the decreases, mine has a bit of a weird angle where i sewed it together since I did not do the decreases.
