Wonderments...

I feel like I want to knit things for people for Christmas, but I am not sure what I can make that will actually be used. I would love to knit my mom or dad a nice blanket but both have dogs that run the house and ruin everything nice inside of it...

I was thinking about knitting my mom a bookcover with a built in bookmark then getting a book for it, but it seems that maybe it would be too much of a one time use thing, I guess a lot of books are of similar sizes.....

Maybe coffee cup covers, but I see them being used once, taken off for the wash and never returned to their cup.

We live in Florida so that makes scarves and gloves and the like unneeded.

I made my mom a purse once, it was really nice, she never used it.

I am at a loss.

We used to have these ducks my grandma crocheted they were "stuffed" with soap. I wonder what happened to them. They were kinda cool, useless, but cool.
