baby blanket woes & christmas

Ive been working on a lot of stuff recently. which is very unlike me really. Most recently started was a 3 color baby blanket. I was going to do entrelac but I need to get it done with a quickness so I decided to knit basic stripes. I really want to know why every time i knit with more than one color i always get one skein that is a giant pain in my ass. this time its the white. knot city. ugh I like it though. Once I finish this block of white I am going to make probably 4-6 repeats of the striping in straight rows then start decreasing. I should have enough yarn for that and a nice crochet edging should it start to curl. So far no curling as I have been slipping the first stitch on every row and knitting the last stitch on purl rows. Maybe I will even have enough for a few small balls or one big one.

Beyond this I still have to finish my facebook scarf swap project and I got my partner for the ISE7 so I need to contact him and start picking something. He likes scarves that are reversible. I think I want to do something fancier than a basket-weave.
