Maria

So I had to frog my Maria, I guess I didn't HAVE to but I felt it was working up way too slow and if I continued this way I would end up shipping her more of a hankie than a scarf. A very nice silk cabled hankie..... but not quite a scarf. So I have decided to knit it lengthwise and do less cables. Its coming together a lot faster.

Speaking of Scarves... I joined another scarf swap. I hope to make this new one out of recycled yarn we will see what kind of goodies the thrift shops have in FL. I'm not going to worry about this swap until after I move and get settled. Since I don't have a job lined up I wont be able to splurge on the yarn like I did for Maria but I will figure a way to make it extra special.

I only have one more week in Philly before we move to Florida, and honestly I can't wait it is 40 degrees warmer in FL. My ears won't be screaming in pain every time I leave the house.
